“ Absolute gem of a place to eat! We drive from Harrison Ohio to come here and will continue. We’ve been 3x in the last 7-10 days. We don’t cook, and have been looking for a place exactly like this. Very reasonable for what you’re getting, this alone is worth the drive. We do carry out. Everyone else rips you off. The food is plentiful and absolutely delicious. Of course, I can’t get past the walnut grape chicken salad wrap with Saratoga chips with BBQ, which even the BBQ is fantastic. This is what I’ve had the 3x I’ve been. The pretzels with beer cheese is fantastic. The pretzel is like many others, great, but the CHEESE… omg… must try!! Absolutely fantastic! Keep it up, appreciate the Veteran owned, we appreciate your service and continued service by providing us with a great place to come eat! ”

“ My husband and I went here last night looking for a new pub to try. Let me tell you, this place is homey, affordable, and delicious. Starting with my order, I got the Fish and Fries ($10). The fish is Mahi Mahi, which I've never had but I love fish and chips so I tried it. I'm not sure if this kind of fish is generally more dense than cod but it was almost like a chicken nugget/tender. Not in a bad way, it was still VERY juicy and fresh. If I had to change anything, it would be the ratio of batter to fish. I prefer a very thick breading, but that's just me. Fries were very crisp and well seasoned.... I had to eat them all and leave no crumbs! The mashed potatoes and gravy ($4) were SO good. They slathered the gravy on there so you had some for every bite of potatoes. I also got a Bahama Mama which was only $6 (WHAT?!). It was made PERFECTLY, and believe me, I am a Bahama Mama expert. Overall, the meal was delicious, affordable, hot, crispy, and juicy. For my husband's meal, he got a burger (can't seem to remember the name at the moment) with onion rings ($10 total) and a Blue Hawaiian cocktail ($6). He told me the burger was juicy and well seasoned. It had flavor aside from the toppings which is a BIG factor, in my opinion. I did try one of his onion rings and it could have been hotter, but the crunch helped me oversee that. As for his cocktail, I ended up finishing it off since he had to drive and him and I both thought it was very smooth and balanced. He was very satisfied with his meal. As for the environment, it was very bar-centered with the whole bar full of people talking and having a good time. The table-top seating area itself is a bit small but I never mind that because it gives a homey vibe (I LOVE that). I do wish, though, that there was a more visible "seat yourself" sign. We came in and had no idea what to do so we sat ourselves anyway, which I thought we were being rude to do since I didn't see a sign. Also, there was good music playing that everyone could sing along to - both old and new songs. As for our waitress, she was very nice but I think she was bit newer since she didn't know some of the substitution options. She was still very kind and attentive though. In sum, I highly recommend checking this place out. When I say it's affordable AND delicious, please know I mean it! ”

“ We've been making our way around to local dive (or better) bar/restaurants in our area. Lunch today at McCoy's was great. Within minutes of sitting we had drinks and lunch order placed. The lunch specials are priced low (~$6 to $7), bottled Buds for $3 and cocktails for $4.75. Food was good, friendly and quick service. ”

“ It server MJ is a great server. It was our first time there and she was patient answering our questions and making sure we had everything we wanted. The food was amazing and a very good price. I choose the Meatloaf special and it was great! I went back with another friend and we got the pork chops. MJ was right! They're the best pork chops I've ever tasted. I'll be coming back to try other items. ”
